From Bert Moore's good program, Grande Fillet brings an interesting Heritage pedigree. We acquired him when we had a full herd bull battery, as bulls of his quality don't often come available. He is sired by Mapleton Fillet 7205, a son of WestonFillet) and out of a Roan Lad of Northwood daughter. Trademark 3rd (Roan Lad of Northwood was a son of Clipper King of Bapton.
Diamond Hendrix 2H has exceeded all of our expectations. He is one of the most correctly put together bulls with a sound foot and fluid movement. His calves consistently have lighter BWs which grow well, and he has stamped them with the same correctness and style he has. Diamond Hendrix 2H is DNA tested 100K for enhanced EPD's and tested free of known genetic defects.
When evaluating Krugerrand, one is most impressed with his length, width of top, style, and, most importantly, natural muscle expression. Another essential selection trait at Diamond is the dam, which, in this case, is a soft-made, big-bodied female with a beautiful udder and a unique pedigree. His pedigree combines Heritage genetics with modern Canadian Shorthorn Genetics.

He is extremely unique in his makeup, combining a near-ideal phenotype and a pedigree that is an outcross for many programs.
